Great day at the Peach Festival. Everyone is so nice, and prices for concessions were lower (and quality was better) than at the fair. Great idea for those with small children!

I finally had the chance to visit the Peach Festival at Windy Acres Farm, and I had a great time! There were so many peach-flavored treats and products to browse, and I enjoyed picking up a variety of items to take home. I did think some of the produce was priced a bit higher than I expected, but overall it was still a fun experience. I also finally tasted the peach slushy. It needed more peach flavor, but it was refreshing, considering how warm it was outdoors. One of my favorite treats was the peach funnel cake. I asked them to add ice cream to make it a sundae, and it was absolutely delicious! One suggestion I'd love to see in the future would be a homemade peach puree or peach syrup to drizzle on top. I think that would take it to the next level. I didn't purchase admission to the area with the petting zoo and other family activities, so I also missed out on the beer garden and grilled food. I think it would be a great idea to have a few food trucks or additional food vendors near the farm stand for visitors who are just there to shop or enjoy the festival without entering the activity area. I definitely would have spent more on food if that had been an option. Overall, I ha

Our first time there. For the experience it was okay. Now the pricing was a bit high for nothing to offer. As far as samples of their grown merchandise to see if we would like the peaches or not. The way i see it its good if you have kids. It will get expensive. Most of the corn dispenser were not working and would just take your money. As you enter to the petting zoo. The corn dispenser to the left takes 50 cents to spin while others take 25 cents. Just watch out for that. I did made it aware to one of the staff, hoping they can fix it for future visitors and not feel scammed when it comes to feeding the goats. Games like basketball hoop were available train rides($6) free with gold band.

Needed to run an errand in Geneva so I decided to make it a day trip with my 22 month old and check out Windy Acres. It was a quiet day there, maybe only 4 or 5 other families. I paid our admission which it was nice that 2 yrs and younger are free. We explored the different photo ops, which there were plenty. Most of the kid friendly stuff was appropriate for my little one, slightly seemed run down though. We got a cup of "feed" for the animals which I felt was well worth the under $5 price tag. The Goats, Llama, and Geese were eager for the treats. My son loved the Corn Bin, Giant Slide, and the Animals. I would have loved to take the train ride but maybe its only for weekends. I also felt like everything seemed "not open and ready" I especially was disappointed that not even the bubble station was set up. Overall it was nice to have most of the place to ourselves, the Apple Cider Doughnuts were tasty, and we had a lot of fun.
